The installation of Dr. Ameer as the 33rd President of the club was held at Colombo Hilton on the 21st of August 2012. The chief Guest at the event was Mr. Daivanayagam Eassuwaren. Three outstanding Rotarians of the club, Dr. Nizar, Mr, Palansuriya and Mr Sathyamoorthi were presented with awards in recognition for their dedicated service to society.
