Rotary Club of Colombo Central is acting as the Lead Club, under the "Rotary District 3220 -Schools Re-awakening Project”, for the construction of new buildings and necessary facilities for the above Kaluthavalai Ramakrishan Vidyalayam.
Location : Kaluthavalai – remote part in the Batticaloa District
No of Students : 720
Need for the project : School has only semi-permanent buildings without most of the basic amenities, hence the need for new building with all facilities
Architects and Consultants :Milroy Associates, Rajagiriya They have graciously offered their services free of charge with all necessary drawings, Bill of Quantities etc

Present status : The final quotation from the contractor V.J. Engineers (Pvt) Ltd., Nugegoda is already received. The quotation from Suriyarachi Bandara (Pvt) Ltd., Kandy is to be delivered to us before 10th November 2005. We hope to give both quotations to the District Committee for consideration and intend to start construction by 20th November 2005.
