DISTRIBUTION OF MOSQUITO NETS IN THE TRINCOMALEE AREA SPONSORED BY ROTARY CLUB OF NOOSA, AUSTRALIA

This is the part of a big project to distribute 3,500 mosquito nets in different parts of the island all sponsored by Rotary Club of Noosa Australia. The Project was mooted during the Last Rotary year but was started this year by the efforts of Keerthi de Silva. The distribution efforts are assisted by Raj Jeganathan. The first is this one to Trincomalee. Similarly other areas such as Galle, Batticaloa, Jaffna, Kalutara and Matara 

600 Mosquito nets were distributed among the affected household in the Trincomalee area as per our need assessment carried out in February.

Distribution was done on the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd of April 2006.
