Receipeint Gamini Wijeratne and his wife of Meeliyadde-Kanadeniyawala off Ridigama, has six (06) children to take care. Three of them their own, Two of them his dead brothers and one of her sisters. He sisters husband was killed by insurgents. Apart from them they will have to hep is nephew who got triplets.

Receipeint Gamini Wijeratne does odd jobs like clearing land, works in the paddy fields and coconut land as a daily labourer to earn a living. His wife is a woman with some basic education amd plans to do carpet making with waste fabric and to do small sewing in the village.

Rotary Club of Colombo Central, extended a he;ping hand and hope they will find a way for an extra income to up lift their life style --- Niranjala-
