Governor's Visit & Installation of the New President

World Asthmay Day awareness program was completed today (may 28th) with a seminar at Apollo Hospital Colombo. The three Rotary Clubs & RRFI had a Clinical screening at Govt Welasara Hospital. During this clinical examinations Rotary had given needy 50 patients one years of medicene free of charge. The Seminar at Apollo Hospital was a very sucessful. An Q&A session was the highlite of the program. District Governer for 3220 was present with the PDG. Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Ceylon) did a recording to be broadcast on national net work. For the photoraphs see RRFI site. The Hindu Newspaper has featured this event in India

Project Complete

With the financial assistance received from Rotary Club of Chester U K we have provided thirteen (13) Toilets to families living on the banks of the Mahaoya in the Mawanella Area Sri Lanka. Further we have also provided 5 families with fixed, slabs squatting pans ect. to rehabilitate their existing toilets All together 18 families in the Mawanella Area have benefited out of this Project. This project was coordinated by President Elect Keerthi De Silva & Past President Dr. W A M Gunasekare.
