Sri Lanka/Japan SAIMYOJI PRE SCHOOL Foundation Laying Ceremony at Anuradhapura Mirisavetiya.
18th April morning 0930 a.m. (auspicious time) the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the Construction of Sri Lanka/Japan SAIMYOJI PRE SCHOOL was held under the following distinguished guests.
Attended by Rtn. George Perera-Vice President Rotary Club of Colombo Central, Mahanayake Mirisavetiya Temple, Anuradhapura District Judge Mr. Samudra Premajayantha, Anuradhapura Brigade Commander of SL Army Cornel Dharmaratna and Captain Ms. Iresha, SSP Sumith Edirisinghe-Western Province (South) villagers, Dahampasal children and well-wishers.
Rs. 500,000/= cheque was handed over to Mirisavetiya Mahanayake Thero as an advance payment and the total project expenses will be funded by Ven. ESHO NAGATA, Chief Priest, Saimyoji Zen Temple, Toyokawa City, Aichi ken, Japan a member of Rotary Club of Toyokawa Hoi on request made by PP Ratnasoma Silva.
The Project Total Estimate will be Rs. 1,400,000/-.

MIRISAWETIYA SAIMYO-JI PRE SCHOOL PROJECT ANURADHAPURA:
This was funded by Rev. Esho Nagata of Toyokawa Hoi Rotary Club, Nagoya Japan on the request of Past President and Diretor/International Service Ratnasoma Silva. A 13 member delegation arrived from Japan and we had the opening ceremony on the 2nd Sunday December 2007 with the participation of members of Colombo Central Rotary Club, Governor North Central Province, GA Anuradhapura, DIG, Army Commanding in Chief and several dignagtaries of the area.
Cost of the Project: 1.4 million Rupees.
