Helping hand for rural education

Two students from Urugamuwa - Dickwella
were given computer education at IT house Matara and all the fees for A/L education was paid for two years

The student on the right (Ms Tharangani) got through the A/L exam with One A and Two B's (A pass for Sinhala, B pass for Economics and Geography ) her district rank was 234. She will have a chance to enter the University of Ruhuna.

The student on the left (Ms Chandrika) is also from the same village She got through with three "C" passes for the A/L and will be sitting for the exam second time in august 2009.

All educational expenses were given by Rtn Donald & Rtn Bhadra.

The total cost for both students for two years and IT education was Rs 80,000.

Rotary Club of Colombo Central thank IT House for providing special low cost rate for intilal IT education.
