On 13th January 2010 picture charts, books and 25 toys were donated to the under privileged Montessori at the Sri Lankarama Temple, Borella. At present there are about 11 kids and the authorities expect more kids in near future. The books, some toys and charts were obtained from the Asia Foundation book programme. Some toys and sweets for the kids were donated by Madam President Leisha De Silva Chandrasena. The Montessori Teacher said that they did not have adequate toys and educational items and this donation fulfilled her requirements. |
