Innocent children
affected during the war time and unable to trace
their parents. President George and some Rotarians
from a Rotary Club in Italy visited these children's
home situated near Anuradhapura. Distributed clothes,
school items and some donation for their future
needs. Colombo Central assured that they will act
as guardians and look into needs of these affected
children. It is felt that worthy projects of this
nature will be necessary during these times, when
are at the end of prolonged war.
The
total cost of this project was about Rs. 85,000/-
