Amongst a large of gathering of patients and hospital staff and members of Rotary Club Wattala , medicines adequate for treatment of 10 patients for a three month period was handed over by our President Rohan and member Dr Vijith To Dr Bandu Gunasena Consultant Physician.
Dr. Ms. M. G. Chandratillake Senior Registrar & Dr. Sherrill Acting Director of Chest Hospital Welisera are also seen in the photograph.
The chest hospital authorities are requesting us to provide the medicines required for the treatment of 50 patients for a period of 1year as committed during the initial discussions Dr Nizar and others had with the Specialists.

Rotary Club of Madras Central contributed US$ 183 equivalent of Sri Lanka Rupees 20,000. Rotary Club of Wattala and Colombo Central appriciate this valuable contribution to assist the low income asthma patients in Sri Lanka.
