Socio Environmental Foundation – Sri Lanka. A Multimedia projector and a Laptop is required to conduct awareness /educational programs in relation to development activities and natural resources conservation. At this stage there is a proposal from UNESCO to nominate Knuckles Mountain Range as one of the world heritages due to highest biodiversity importance, indigenous community, unique blend of nature, adventure and culture it carry. Further, there are number of identified environmental threats, which could lead to damage the natural resources and biodiversity of the knuckles Mountains Range. With more than 2500 years historical value it is obvious that Knuckles Mountain Range is an asset not only to Sri Lanka but also to the whole world.
