Description of the area and the Organization:
Sri Nissanka Lama Computer Society is affiliated to the Buddhist Temple Henemulla Sri Sugatharathmaramaya. The society is at the Nissanka Vidyalaya, Udawalpola. In the area there are a reasonable number of students from the working class and lower middle class. Though the society is situated in the close proximity to the city the end users will be boys, girls and adults from the surrounding villages like Henemulla, Wehera, Yanhampalawa. This is a village in the middle of an urban area. “ICT” education still a novel thing in these area and still limited for richer class. Since the Temple and the village school is jointly involved in setting up of this society definitely this is going to benefit a majority of the people of this area.

Description of the area and the Organization:
St. Joseph’s Home and School; belongs to Maris Brothers and runs a school for the lower middle class and working class. These children will never get the opportunity of learning computers on their own. The high cost of courses makes studying “ICT” unaffordable. Under the “Functional Literacy Programme” average student as well as others who are interested in computer will get the opportunity to get access to learn the basic understanding working with a computer. Since the beneficiaries are mostly poor and less fortunate this will be a worthy project. Martis Brothers are dedicated to educate the poor children and are committed to develop the lives and families.
